draft of the WHO Global Stategy on Diet, Physical Activity and Health was discussed at the World Health Assembly (17-22 May 2004).
The Strategy emphasizes the need to limit the intake of certain fats, sugars and salt and increase consumption of fruits and vegetables and levels of physical activity.
