Rheumatic Heart Disease Network (RHDnet)

The World Heart Federation's website for rheumatic heart disease is an international resource developed primarily for clinicians, health practitioners and policy-makers in countries where the disease is still common. Its purpose is to promote rheumatic heart disease control through the use of register-based secondary prevention of rheumatic fever.

The Rheumatic Heart Disease Network, RHDnet provides education and training materials, register databases, and best-practice rheumatic fever/rheumatic heart disease guidelines and resources from programmes around the world. These are available free of charge and with the kind permission of their publishers.

RHDnet also includes a section specifically for families and communities which contains information and links to inform and promote rheumatic heart disease awareness in the community.

A members' forum has been developed to link clinicians and health practitioners around the world to facilitate information sharing, collaboration and cooperation to improve rheumatic heart disease control globally.
