Ways of working with the private sector

In order to help us achieve our mission, we seek to develop successful partnerships with companies that share our commitment and whose aims, products, services and events are compatible with the mission of the World Heart Federation. The structure of the engagement can cover some or all of the following:

1. Bespoke partnerships with  leading global corporations.
2. Sponsorship agreements in which both parties commit to a mutually beneficial association.
3. Donations from companies in the form of philanthropic contributions.
4. Cause-related marketing initiatives on condition that they raise awareness about heart health and generate income for our activities. As a general rule, the World Heart Federation does not endorse products. However, it may do so in cases where the product carries a significant public health benefit.

World Heart Federation currently works with companies in the following ways:

• Strategic Partner : a multi-year commitment of financial support from major global corporations including an individualized action plan.
  
  
• Corporate Sponsor : financial support in the form of general grants or through sponsorship agreements for a specific project.
  
  
• Exchange / Other Partnerships: A joint collaboration to reach common goals.
