Accommodation

A large number of hotel rooms have been reserved by MCI Suisse SA in various hotels in Beijing. These represent different price categories and offer discounted room rates for the World Congress of Cardiology 2010. Only reservations made through MCI Suisse SA will benefit from these preferentially secured rates.
All hotels are easily and quickly accessible by public transport. The main hotel chains offer different hotel room categories. Each category has a minimum and maximum rate based on single or double occupancy. As a minimum, all hotels offer a bath/shower/WC, telephone, TV and breakfast facilities. The majority of 4 and 5 star hotels also have a restaurant, bar and fitness centre.

Group reservations (10 rooms minimum) will be booked under a separate contract and separate regulations.

Reservation conditions and cancellation policy

Hotel accommodation is subject to availability and requests received after 21 April 2010 cannot be guaranteed. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis, availability of rooms in each category is limited. Name of persons sharing rooms must be indicated.
Rates will be indicated in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to currency fluctuation.
Only guaranteed reservations will be accepted: to guarantee your reservation a deposit covering one night will be required, either by bank transfer or by credit card (deposits will be deducted from the final hotel bill when paid by the participant at the hotel).

Payment
To guarantee the reservation a deposit covering the first night of your stay is required. All payments must be made in US Dollars (USD) payable to: MCI Suisse SA - “WCC 2010” - 75 rue de Lyon, 1211 Geneva 13, Switzerland. No confirmation will be sent until the payment has been received.
Please indicate the participant's name and “WCC 2010" on ALL payments. From 5 May 2010 only payments made by credit card will be accepted.

Confirmation
Hotel voucher will be sent upon receipt of your payment. Please keep your hotel voucher for presentation at the hotel upon arrival.

Changes and Cancellations
All cancellations must be sent to MCI Suisse SA in writing (fax, letter or e-mail); please note that hotels will not accept any changes directly.
For cancellations received up to 5 May 2010 deposits will be refunded less USD 100 for administrative costs. After this date, no refund will be possible.
In case of late cancellations (after 5 May 2010) or no-show, one room night will be charged. Please note however, that we reserve the right to charge the full stay if the hotel room can not be re-sold.
A handling fee of USD 50 per hotel room will be charged for every hotel modification received after 15 May 2010.

Group reservations will be handled by MCI Suisse SA with separate contracts.
