The WCC Scientific Sessions 2010
The WCC Scientific Sessions 2010 will take place in Beijing, China from 16–19 June 2010. Held every two years, it is the official congress of the World Heart Federation and is being co-hosted with the Chinese Society of Cardiology (CSC) and the Chinese Medical Association (CMA). The WCC Scientific Sessions 2010 presents a key forum to tackle the growing epidemic of cardiovascular disease and strives to unite the voices of societies, foundations and partners in the fight against it. More than 250 sessions will be presented during the WCC Scientific Sessions 2010. The scientific programme will offer global sessions on clinical cardiology, prevention, diagnosis and intervention strategies, as well as heart-health promotion. Various sessions formats will be offered, including sessions in Chinese, and a large scale of scientific topics will be covered. The congress will also incorporate the 3rd International Conference on Women, Heart Disease and Stroke into the scientific programme and the theme will be fully reflected throughout.
