WCC 2012 SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

The WCC 2012 Scientific Programme Committee is finalizing over 200 sessions for the next World Congress of Cardiology. With 12 cardiovascular related tracks, the programme will cover a broad range of topics and focus on diagnosis and treatment as well as on prevention.
Programme highlights will include sessions on cardiovascular disease management, heart failure, arrhythmias, rheumatic heart disease, women & heart disease, global health, risk factor management & health promotion, imaging and best of clinical trials.
Additionally, there will be sessions on non-communicable diseases, outcomes of the UN Summit on NCDs taking place in September 2011 and sessions with the World Health Organization. Several types of workshops comprising prevention, electrocardiography, echocardiography and cardiac surgery will also take place.  Additionally, joint sessions with some World Heart Federation members are also on the programme.

More than 400 renowned physicians, scientists, nurses and other healthcare professionals have already confirmed they will speak at WCC 2012. Join us in Dubai to listen to the opening address by Dr Sidney C. Smith Jr. followed by 3 days of presentations from programme experts from around the world.
