Members list

The World Heart Federation is a nongovernmental organization committed to uniting its members and leads the global fight against heart disease and stroke, with a focus on low-and middle-income countries.

The World Heart Federation is the world's only global body dedicated to leading the fight against heart disease and stroke. We do this via a united community of almost 200 member organizations that bring together the strength of medical societies and heart foundations, from more than 100 countries.

Our network comprises National, Continental and Associate members as described below

National members:
A national society of cardiology or a national heart foundation.

Continental member:
A continental society or foundation which is a group of societies or foundations from one of the continental groupings of countries comprising Europe, North/Central/South America, Asia Pacific, and Africa.

Associate National member: 
A national society devoted to aspects of the prevention and control of heart disease and stroke or with aims similar to those of the World Heart Federation.

Associate International member:
An independent incorporated organization active in some aspect of the prevention and control of heart disease and stroke.

Associate Individual member:
An individual who applies for membership from a country where national membership is not possible.
