Health Worker Training Materials (English and Portuguese)

Health worker training materials include a Training Curriculum and Training Presentations which are intended for educating health professionals and local rheumatic heart disease programme staff. They are based on up-to-date information for the diagnosis and management of acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease.

The Training Presentations are available in Microsoft Powerpoint and support the Training Curriculum.

A sample training workshop timetable is also available.

 
Register Databases

Register databases have been developed using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. All databases have corresponding data collection forms and help files.

The data collection forms may also be printed and used as a paper alternative to the computer registers.
