MEDTRONIC “CHARITY CHALLENGE” BEATING RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE!

Medtronic has launched a promotion to encourage their staff and medical community partners to get running to beat rheumatic heart disease (RHD). The aim is to get people to be more active by putting the Medtronic philosophy of “better together” into practice.

For each medical community partner and every Medtronic employee who runs, walks or wheels in an organized event, Medtronic will donate €10 for every kilometre, up to a total of €100,000, towards the World Heart Federation activities to control RHD.

The promotion runs until the end of the year – or until the €100,000 target is reached.
Medtronic is publicising this within its international offices, as well as with its business medical community partners. The minimum distance for a run is 5 KM, with no maximum!

The World Heart Federation is delighted to be partnering on this promotion, which encourages people to be more active and at the same time helps build awareness for RHD.
