The World Heart Federation has launched a web-based global centre of excellence for the control of rheumatic heart disease (RHD). Anyone will be able to download the latest guidelines and educational and training materials. Buenos Aires 2008NEXT WORLD CONGRESS OF CARDIOLOGY TO BE IN ARGENTINA. The next World Congress of Cardiology will take place 18 to 21 May 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. World Heart Federation appointmentHELEN ALDERSON PROMOTED TO CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER. Helen Alderson has been promoted to the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer of the World Heart Federation from her previous position of Director of Development.
