Strategic Plans and Political Declarations

In September 2011 history was made when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Political Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases.

Following a National NCD Summit in India, the New Delhi Call for Action on Combating Noncommunicable Diseases was adopted in August 2011.
