
The FCTC working group of the NCD Alliance has released it's briefing paper entitled "NCDs, Tobacco Control and the FCTC." The paper pulls from arguments published earlier this year by the Lancet and the Center for Strategic and International Studies to present evidence supporting the urgent need for tobacco control to play a central role in the fight against NCDs. The briefing states commitments that are needed at the global and national level while also putting forward clear steps for future progress.
