Engaging employers

Through health promotion programmes, companies have the potential to reach out to a large part of the world population since 65% of it aged over 15 is part of the workplace. This year on World Heart Day, the World Heart Federation and its members are challenging individuals to take charge of their family’s heart health and become their home’s advocate. Through employees, heart-healthy habits can reach their family and friends for an even greater impact. This is why the World heart Federation calls upon companies and individuals to use the workplace to promote long-term behavioural changes that will benefit employers, employees and communities

Disccover our employers' resource guide, developed to help employers implement workplace-wellness initiatives in their company/organization/hospital to improve the heart health of their employees.

Although  this material is freely available, we do rely on donations and public support to carry out our vital activities aimed at preventing and controlling heart disease, particularly in the developing world.
