Symposia: include a maximum of five presentations on the latest developments in fields such as basic science, clinical cardiology and epidemiology.
Debates: provide a lively yet balanced discussion on controversial issues with two statements that will be debated, each with a pro and contra presentation followed by a discussion at the end of each statement.
Clinical seminars: designed to highlight what every clinician should know about various specific subspecialty topics. The sessions do not target exclusively specialists but also a general audience.
How to sessions: designed to have interactive group discussions with noted experts concerning cardiovasculartechniques and therapeutic interventions, as well as novel strategies for disease prevention.
Meet the experts: designed to enhance informal interaction between the audience and experts in a given field.
Workshops: designed to combine the best of a how-to and meet the expert sessions. Workshops are presented as case-based or hands on format whereby participants can practice interactive diagnostic and treatment skills in complex cases or learn/reinforce skills in various cardiovascular interventions/procedures.
