NATIONAL (All Africa)

Awareness, Surveillance, Advocacy, Prevention Programme (A.S.A.P.)

The A.S.A.P. Programme (website) aims to raise awareness of RHD, improve the quality of RHD information, improve health care facilities and establish prevention programmes for RHD. The programme has Demonstration sites in Egypt, Ethopia, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Ruwanda, South Africa and Zambia.

Heart Disease in Children (website) is an introduction to rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease.
