“Heart Health Check” questionnaires will be made available in the September issues of two health magazines, in a report for Austrian Heart Foundation donors, through the Foundation website and at other World Heart Day events. Personal risk profiles will be evaluated and sent to the respondents.

On World Heart Day, a launch event marking the 50th anniversary of the first pacemaker implantation will be held at the Technical Museum in Vienna. There will be heart health checks and cholesterol, blood pressure, BMI and waistline measurement.

From 22-26 October “La Donna – an Exhibition for Women” will be dedicated to the theme
“Know your risk”. There will be an information booth with heart health checks and risk factor assessment.
