World Heart Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, 24 September in Riga. There will be a press conference featuring the Health Minister, the President of the Latvian Society of Cardiology, dieticians and cardiologists. Information tents with the slogan "Do you know your risk?" will be set up in Kronvalds Park, where blood pressure, waist circumference, heart rate and cholesterol checks will be offered along with consultations from cardiologists and dieticians. In addition, an exhibition about heart health risk factors will be held at the Museum of Medicine.
