A mini-triathlon for young people aged 14-17 years was held and was all about participation, rather than competition. It was also a chance for the young people to gauge their own physical condition as they completed each of the three components of the “triathlon”, starting with a cycle, followed by a run and finishing with a swim. The Lord Mayor of Belfast and the Director of Children's Services from the Belfast Trust were on hand to support the event and encourage the importance of physical activity in all of our lives.
