WCC 2016 opening ceremony: where political advocacy meets the best of cardiology
All registered delegates are invited to attend the opening ceremony which includes engaging talks by the likes of Professor Valentin Fuster and President Tabaré Vazquéz of Uruguay.
Spotlight on Latin American cardiology
A full track dedicated to Latin American Cardiology will be led by Dr Marcia Barbosa, immediate Past President of the InterAmerican Society of Cardiology. All the talks in this track will be simultaneously interpreted in both Spanish and English, bringing people from around the continent together to tackle shared challenges as well as showcase successes in Latin America for other regions to learn from and create a strong network of practitioners within Latin America.
