Latest updates on the coronavirus and heart disease
On World Heart Day, 29 September 2020, we’re asking the world to Use Heart to beat CVD … for your loved ones, society and you.
We are living in unprecedented times. The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on the healthcare profession, national healthcare systems and our individual responsibilities – for our own health and for the vulnerable in society.
We don’t know what course the pandemic will take in the future but we do know that taking care of our hearts right now is more important than ever.
We rely on supporters around the world to help us to make World Heart Day more impactful every year – a powerful platform for positive change and to help people live longer, better, healthier lives.
Here’s what you can do right now as we build towards 29 September:

Every year on 29 September iconic landmarks, monuments, buildings and hospitals illuminate in support of World Heart Day. This year, as well as shining red we are also asking for our Use Heart graphic to be projected if possible.
If you can help us make this happen, please email email@example.com.
Thank you for your support. Together we can bring awareness of heart health to millions around the world … on World Heart Day, and every day.
